Creative Designer & Communications Manager (m/f/d)
The Creative Designer & Communications Manager (CDCM) oversees, creates, designs, photographs and produces marketing collateral and material (e.g. print, digital, photography and video, etc.) for both internal and external audiences. The CDCM is also responsible for developing and maintaining the current corporate identity of the School so as to ensure standards of branding are adhered to in all external and internal marketing collateral and material. Responsibilities include updates and maintenance of the MIS website and other web-related channels. In addition, the CDCM liaises and works with a wide variety of internal and external stakeholders to produce communication-related material as required. The overall objective of the CDCM is to position the School as a leading international school. Reporting to the Director of Advancement and working closely and collaboratively with the wider Advancement Team, he/she independently performs tasks of varied complexity in this regard.
Supporting school-wide internal initiatives with the design of advertisements of MIS events
Designing content for all print and digital marketing advertisements with various 3rd party platforms
Ensuring that all creative campaigns are in a suitable format to be viewed on desktop, mobile phone and for social media
Providing photography services for all school-wide and, at times, school-specific events for both internal and external distribution
Story planning, scripting and research for all internal and external video-based campaigns
Producing video content from the operation of video camera equipment, audio equipment and video editing using Non-Linear Editing (NLE) software
Defining all marketing and corporate design standards related to the standardisation of the School's branding and corporate identity
Providing quality control over concepts and projects related to branding
Sourcing and working with external vendors and providers to provide the most innovative and cost-effective visual material (e.g. merchandise, large displays, signage, etc.)
Ability to lead strategic planning and strategy implementation in the areas of fund-raising, institutional philanthropy, and community donations
Ability to inspire and motivate partners and potential partners of MIS
Exceptional communication skills, including the ability to speak and write at a professional level and to represent the school to all kinds of partners and potential partners
Ability to build positive rapport and mutual trust with a wide range of stake-holders and partners both within and beyond the school community
Strong organisation and process management skills
Fluency in English and German (oral and written) is essential
Strong proficiency in a range of information technologies, including databases and communication platforms
Positive, energetic, out-going person who enjoys building relationships with a wide range of diverse people
Intercultural competencies and respect and appreciation for diversity
Interest in the development and education of young people
